In Chapter 1, page 15, there's a warning to run VC# at least once before installing XNA Game Studio.

This is a prerequisite / known problem in XNA Game Studio 1.0 Refresh.  Does this still hold true?  The readme for GS3.0 seems to have removed that requirement.

Alvin,

You are correct. I just did a fresh install of VC# 2008 followed by XNA GS 3.0 and I didn't start up VC# first and I was able to create a Windows Game project as the first project without any issue. I missed that they removed that requirement.

Thanks!

Chad
